Andrew L. Pecora, M.D.
Dr. Pecora has been a member of PCT’s Board of Managers since 1999 and is PCT’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. His background is decribed in more detail in the Management Section.

Paul Estrem, M.B.A.
Paul Estrem brings with him to PCT’s Board of Managers a wealth of expertise and experience. Paul, with Baxter since 1990, is the Chief Financial Officer for Baxter’s BioScience Division and the President of BioScience 2002 LLC. Prior to his current position, Paul was the head of finance for Baxter’s operations in Japan. Over his 17-year career with Baxter, Paul has held positions of increasing responsibility including corporate planning, manufacturing finance, and internal audit. Before joining Baxter, Paul was a public accountant with Arthur Andersen and Company for five years.

Paul earned his Master’s in Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and an undergraduate degree in accounting from Illinois State University.

Dempsey L. Gable
Mr. Dempsey Gable is a member of PCT's Board of Managers and has served as a Manager since 2002.

Most recently, Mr. Gable was the Senior Vice President, Energy, Utilities and Finance at Commerzbank North America, where he was responsible for project finance and overall new business development, portfolio management, financial analysis, and marketing for energy and utility companies. Prior to that, Mr. Gable held positions at Paine Webber in the Investment Banking Department and at Barclays de Zoette Wedd in the Corporate Finance Department

Robert Hamm, M.A.
Mr. Robert Hamm is a member of PCT's Board of Managers and has served as a Manager since 2006.

Since 2003 Mr. Hamm has served at Biogen Idec where he is now Senior Vice President Strategic Neurology Business Unit. Mr. Hamm joined Biogen in 1994 and has served in various management positions including Senior Vice President, International, President of Biogen Europe, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, North America, and Vice President of Manufacturing and Engineering. Prior to joining Biogen, his employment experience includes Syntex, Mobil Oil and the U.S. Air Force. He received a B.A. in Psychology from St. Bonaventure University and an M.A. in Management Leadership from Central Michigan University.

Professor K. K. Jain, M.D.
Dr. Jain is a member of PCT's Board of Managers and has served as a Manager since 2006.

Professor K. K. Jain is a physician trained in neurology/neurosurgery. He worked for twenty-five years in various academic and private practice positions worldwide, mostly in Canada and the United States. He has been involved in the biopharmaceutical industry since 1990, with a particular interest in cell/gene therapy, when he founded Jain PharmaBiotech. Since 1997 Professor Jain has been an advocate for the development of personalized medicine and has promoted the integration of molecular diagnostics, biomarkers, proteomics, nanobiotechnology and RNAi to advance personalized medicine. He was elected a fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal Colleges of United Kingdom in 2000. He is author of 370 publications, including 12 books and 46 special reports, covering a wide range of topics in biotechnology, healthcare and biopharmaceuticals including the world’s leading report in cell therapy.

William J. Montgoris
Mr. William Montgoris is a member of PCT's Board of Managers and has served as a Manager since 2003. Mr. Montgoris serves as HUMC's representative on PCT's Board of Managers.

Mr. Montgoris has held various positions at The Bear Stearns Companies, Inc., including services as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors. He began his career with the public accounting firm now known as Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

Robert A. Preti, Ph.D.
Dr. Preti has been a member of PCT’s Board of Managers since 1999 and is PCT’s President and and Chief Scientific Officer. His background is decribed in more detail in the Management Section.

Paul Ruitenberg III
Mr. Paul Ruitenberg III is a member of PCT's Board of Managers and has served as a Manager since 2005.

Mr Ruitenberg is a private investor, and owner and president of Ruitenberg Displays, Inc., a designer, producer and installer of décor, graphics, fixtures, signage, display and total environment concept programs for the retail industry. Mr. Ruitenberg serves on the Board of Trustees of the Christian Health Care Center Foundation and is a past member of the Development Board of the Atlantic Stewardship Bank.
